Local Data Storage
All of your templates, active runs, customized categories, checklist sub-steps, and execution progress are stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. We do not maintain or connect to any centralized databases or cloud servers to store your workflows.
Data Sharing & Portability
Workflow Step Stack offers a JSON-based template import and export system, allowing you to back up your workflows or share custom routines with others. These exports are generated strictly on your device and are shared via standard iOS share sheets. No data is transmitted to external servers during this process unless explicitly chosen by you through your preferred iOS sharing methods.
Local Alerts & Notifications
The application uses system-level timers and local user notifications (via UNUserNotificationCenter) to alert you when a timed step completes. These notifications are processed entirely on-device; they do not utilize remote push notification servers or transmit any personal indicators.
Analytics & Tracking
We do not collect usage statistics, performance logs, event analytics, or tracking cookies. Your app interactions remain entirely private to you.
